Evidence of Work:
After coming up with a functional decomposition flow chart, we used the different functions and sub-functions to separate out the drawings of the whole designs. We did this in a classification scheme with the functions on the side and the alternative concepts on the top. The grid will help us separate out the different parts and go more in depth for each design. After finishing the classification scheme we have to narrow it down to three designs and choose the best concept for each function. The lines connecting the boxes represent one possible design. We did some more research to make sure we chose the best choices for each one. The designs have to be environmental friendly, durable, cheap, and easily manufactured.

Content:
Escherichia Coli - a single celled organism that is normally found in intestines of humans or animals. The bacterial feeds normally off of sugars but when genetically modified it can digest carbon dioxide. They can survive in harsh environments and reproduce very quickly.
Muffler - a device mandatory in all cars that quiets the sound of the car engine. It uses baffles and other obstacles to make the sound waves bounce around and become quieter.
Metal Organic Framework - a mix between organic and inorganic material that is formed into a porous solid. The solid works to separate out different chemicals based on what it is originally made out of.
Nylon - a cloth material that is made from thermoplastics. It is very durable and used in many things today.
Chiffon - a light, sheer fabric made from silk or nylon. Porous and durable that can last in harsh conditions without breaking.
Sleeve and Clamp - a way to connect two cylinders using a metal circle and clamps to screw them tight together. The two cylinders are connected with the metal sleeve that goes over the both of them. Screw holes at the top allow for the sleeve to be clamped together when a screw is put on it.
