Evidence of Work:
Now ha we have a functioning prototype, we have to test how well it works and make modifications based on the results. We tested the effectiveness of a cotton sheet at capturing particulates. We conducted the same kind of test as we did for the nylon and found the same results. Cotton did work well at capturing particulates but would burn up when actually in motion. We also tested the best way to attach the external prototype. Driving tests were conduced to see what attachment would work the best at keeping the external prototype on the exhaust pipe when moving. We tested an adhesive tape and clamp attachment for both cars. The results ended up showing that the adhesive will work the best for our product.

Content:
Metal Tape - Thin and flexible strips of metal with adhesive on one side of it. The metal tape was used to attach the prototype onto the exhaust pipe.
Air Flow - The rate at which air moves through a certain contained area. The air flow in our project had to be taken into consideration because a high air velocity coming from the exhaust pipe will affect the performance of our filter.
Exhaust Temperature - The temperature at which the exhaust pipe expels. This is normally around 700 degrees F.
