Evidence of Work:
As we are getting closer to the end of the year, our ideas and 2D drawings are becoming physical models. We used materials from home and from the maker space to create our two final prototypes. A metal pipe was cut down to 4 inches long and 2 wire sheets and mesh cloths was traced to fit snug inside the cylinder. The mesh was layered and inserted into the pipe. In an actual product, the metal would be welded down to stay in place.

Content:
Stainless Steel - Steel that has additives like sulfur and other minerals to make it stronger or scratch resistant.
Basalt Fiber - Made from basalt that is melted together and formed into fibers. Four our project the fibers are woven together to make a screen.
Clamp - A mechanical way to attach two things together. Our clamp uses screws to pinch the exhaust pipe and our product tightly together so it stays on.
Adhesive - Chemicals that are mixed together to attach two different objects. Normally melted to apply and when finally stuck when dried.
Blueprints - A way to display objects and how they would be build/attached together. They also contain dimensions and a scale to the actual size.
*My reflection is located on design step 6, 7, & 8 page: Design Step 6, 7, & 8
