Evaluation of Alternative and Selection of Design Concept:
1. Decide on 5 to 7 evaluation criteria that will be used in a decision matrix to evaluate the three concepts from the previous step.
2. Assign weights to the evaluation criteria.
3. Fill out the decision matrix by rating the concepts criteria from 0-10 where 0 is the worst and 10 is the best. Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each designs evaluation criteria before moving on to the next.
4. Analyze the results of the decision matrix. Use the matrix to look for for weaknesses and attempt to correct them by combining ideas.
5. Select the bets concept.
6. Document your evaluation process.

Reflection:
Design Step Three was a big step moving forwards because we dug deep into our single design and tweaked it around to make the best version possible. During this step I did well with problem solving and perseverance. As a group we had to do a lot of research to figure out what the best solution for our product would be and how to make it in an sustainable way. I had to be problem solving because there were a lot of choices and compromises we had to make in order to keep our product as affordable as possible but still made with quality materials. One example is the material choice. Finding the right material that will work but also not be super detrimental to the environment or expensive. Another thing I though I did well during this step was perseverance. The material we want to use has to meet many different criteria for it to work. This led to a lot of researching down one path then switching to another very frequently. I kept doing more research and brainstorming even though it was discouraging at times. Some of the lows I had during this step was lack of communication and time management. As a team, I feel like we could have done better at communicating with each other and understanding the project better. During the life cycle report, we split up the different sections to research but didn't communicate so parts of the process were missing or incorrect. The other thing I think we could have dine better was our time management. We did a lot of research in the beginning but didn't start on the actual write up until a few day before we had to finish and move on. It was harder to finish because we didn't spend enough time on the other components like the infographic. For next Time I really want to work on my communication skills because it will make the process a lot easier.
